Unfinished O, 9' (2.7m) white pine wood cross ties by Mt. Albert Scale Lumber and are a perfect match to our QuickSticks and wood turnout ties. They can be used for laying straight and curved trackwork throughout your layout.
Height and thickness produced to very high tolerances (+/-.002"), the highest in the industry. These ties are cut from high quality White Pine selected specifically by Fast Tracks for its ability to take spikes without splitting.

These ties are just fine! I do wish there were corresponding ties to go under the PC board ties so they would all come out level. Much of my trackwork is custom. I lay out the ties an a drawing and then build the trackwork directly on top. Nice to have all ties, both wood and copper, mutually level before I start building.

Latest batch - clean and splint free. NOTE many years ago I put a load in a vevor vacumm pump/tank with a quart of dark stain sealer. a cycle of vacumm then glued 10 outdoors- forgot them. years later recovered but the support rotted away. LOVE THESE and still adding more. 🙂 Tom

Ordered a ton of ties....received them in just a couple of days...they shipped the same day, in fact. using them with On30 on some dual gauge and need to slightly sand them to the same level as the On30....in transition areas....results are excellent.
