Fast Tracks products and tutorials had me making 16 dual gauge turnouts with several variations that consisted of both gauges separating, standard gauge turnout with narrow gauge splitting off, and several other variations with ease and confidence.
I actually sat and ran a set of trucks and then a full size car through it for almost half an hour in amazement.

If you can build a craftsman kit you can easily master building your own turnouts. Just follow the video instructions exactly as the construction process is presented and you will have excellent turnouts.
If you are considering using Fast Track, I strongly encourage you to do so. The instructional videos are priceless. Get the point form tool, the stock aid, and tie breaking tool plus any others they recommend that you don't have.
