Do you need a lot of plain basswood sheet stock for your project? Purchase in bulk and save over the price of packaged sheets!
These handy plain basswood sheets from Mt. Albert Scale Lumber have many uses! Great for floors, roofs, or interior walls.
Thinner sizes are easily cut with a knife, and thicker sizes, such as 1/4", are best cut with a saw. All sizes are ideally suited for laser cutting.
Basswood's naturally fine grain makes it ideal for hand carving as well. Even though this is technically hardwood, it works easily with hand tools.
Mt. Albert scale sheet stock is produced from the highest quality basswood available. Cut to consistent dimensions, with a tolerance of +/- .005" (less than the thickness of a sheet of paper), this material is ideally suited for all scratch building projects.
Our method of cutting basswood produces clean, fuzz-free wood ready to use. We use the finest raw materials available, free of knots and discoloration.
These 0.125" x 4" (3.2mm x 101.6mm) wide sheets are sold in 24" (610 mm) lengths.
NOTE: This product was sold under the part number B702B24 in the Mt. Albert Scale Lumber catalog. This product's Fast Tracks part number is now SSB-PL-MS-125-4x24.
